Barbering has been part of my life for a long time. I became a barber in 1996 after attending Winston-Salem Barber College, following in the footsteps of my father, William “WH” Blackwelder, who barbered for 45 years in Winston-Salem.
I learned the value of a good haircut, a steady hand, and a real conversation from watching him work and from spending years behind the chair myself.
